By accessing or using unfollowSafe (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

unfollowSafe is a free, browser-based tool that lets you analyze your own Instagram data export. The Service processes files locally on your device and does not require an Instagram login, password, or account connection. unfollowSafe is a tool for personal data analysis and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to harass, spam, or harm other users.
  • Misrepresent that the Service is affiliated with Instagram or Meta.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or interfere with the Service.
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or Instagram’s terms of service.

4. No Warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that analysis results will be accurate or complete.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, unfollowSafe and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

6. Third-Party Links

The Service may link to third-party websites, such as the Meta Accounts Center. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party site. Following such links is at your own discretion and subject to the third party’s own terms and policies.

7. Intellectual Property

The unfollowSafe name, logo, design, and code are the property of unfollowSafe. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without our prior written consent.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. The most current version will always be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
